As part of Lancaster's annual DinoFest run by Lancaster BID, we welcomed budding young palaeontologists to join Sir Richard Owen, grouchy inventor of the word "dinosaur" and founder of the Natural History Museum, and his madcap scientist assistant Mildred Fossil, as he begrudgingly led groups of children from local primary schools around his hometown, Lancaster, revealing stories of his life there and beyond as well as sharing all sorts of fun dinosaur facts, real life fossils and getting our intrepid tour groups to solve a quiz along the way!
