A Christmas Carol:

Three Left Feet presents Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted for the stage by Tom Double and Théo Tomas-Brown. The epitome of Victorian ghost stories, Dickens' novella will be brought to life faithfully with the magic of puppetry! Witness the chilling festive tale of the redemption of bitter miser Ebenezer Scrooge through the visitation of three ethereal, otherworldly and in parts terrifying Spirits of Christmas and, of course, the ghost of Jacob Marley. As Scrooge is led through the past, present and possibilities of the future, he must learn the importance of humanity before his purgatorial fate is sealed forever. Expect an intimate, heart warming and often funny performance in Waterstones, the heart of Lancaster's literary centre that will leave you asking “Jim Henson who?”

This show has opportunities for both actors and puppeteers so if you are aged 16-30 and have an interest in either then please fill in the form after reading the information below.

A Midsummer Night's Dream:

“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”

It’s 17th Century Lancaster and the air is rife with suspicion. There are witches among us, so you’d better watch your backs. The powerful witch Titania and disgruntled Warlock Oberon are in the midst of a tremendous rift. Their quarrel encompasses the entire forest and beyond, meddling with all those who dare enter.

When the rebellious Hermia refuses to marry her father’s choice of husband, Demetrius, she puts herself in the line of fire. Deciding to secretly elope with her love Lysander, Hermia reveals her plan to her best friend Helena, who promptly discloses the plan to wannabe lover Demetrius. Unaware of the supernatural rumblings, all four of them set off into the forest that night. Set over the course of one night, witches and warlocks’ cross paths with the four lovers and a group of travelling crooks, resulting in a large case of magic, mistaken identity and miscellaneous shenaniganry.

Watch your backs, it’s witching hour.

If you are aged 16-30 (and are out of compulsory education - aka have finished year 11) then please fill in the form after reading the information below.
