virtual arts in the park
Three Left Feet are thrilled to be bringing Virtual Arts in the Park back for its second year. After an incredibly successful digital event in 2020, Virtual Arts in the Park is returning on Saturday 12th June 2021 to celebrate all forms of the arts.
The festival - turned digital in the era of COVID-19 - is designed to encourage local people to showcase their work, enjoy something new, and get involved with the exciting world of the arts!
If you prefer to watch the action instead of creating it, keep an eye on this website, and our social media channels for all of the latest Virtual Arts in the Park announcements.
In 2019, we started planning a physical arts festival that would take place over a full weekend in June. This in-person festival was to take place in the beautiful, local surroundings of Williamson Park.
Arts in the Park aims to deliver both of Three Left Feet's core aims: delivering the arts in unconventional, everyday spaces and creating accessible opportunities for local people to access the arts. The festival would feature a range of mediums, offering local Lancastrians the chance to showcase their work to an audience.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic that hit in 2020 prevented in-person festivals from taking place. So, we took the event online instead! From photography to dance and comedy, Virtual Arts in the Park 2020 had something for everyone, and can still be enjoyed today.
When the world eventually returns to some form of normality, Three Left Feet are so excited to bring Arts in the Park to Lancaster in its original, intended form.
